WHAT a fantastic win for the Clarets, but how sad all the talk this morning is about one idiot rather than 11 heroes.

The feat that Owen Coyle's man achieved last night at Chelsea few would have thought possible.

They held one of the best sides in Europe for 120 minutes and then Brian Jensen pulled of two magnificent saves to record a famous win at Stamford Bridge.

But the result seems to have become sideshow after news broke than one person among the Burnley fans appears to have thrown a coin at Didier Drogba as he celebrated his goal.

The FA and the Metropolitan Police are now investigating the incident and the media will be full of this story as it unfolds.

You thought this type of stupidity went out with the Ark, but sadly it appears not.

Firstly, it's dangerous. Someone could have been seriously hurt.

Secondly, it's criminal.

And thirdly, it's an act of cowardice.

Drogba was stupid for throwing the coin back and I hope he didn't hurt an innocent bystander who was among an immense travelling support.

You can only hope that the person responsible for putting a black mark on such a phenomenal night in the proud history of Burnley Football Club is brought to book and the focus returns to the result.
