ACCRINGTON Stanley have been handed an away tie against Hornchurch or Peterborough in the second round of the FA Cup if they beat Tranmere in their first-round replay on November 18.
Stanley drew 0-0 at home to the Wirral side yesterday and will travel to Prenton Park for the replay, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
Hornchurch, who are based in east London and play in the Blue Square South, host Peterborough in their first-round tie at 2pm this afternoon.
If Stanley progress and face League One Peterborough, it may allow on-loan defender Kieran Charnock to play against his parent club.
Charnock played for Stanley against Tranmere yesterday and would now be unable to return and play for Peterborough in the FA Cup.
Stanley lost 8-2 on their previous visit to Peterborough last season.
Second-round ties take place on the weekend of November 29 and 30.
