NOSTALGIC photographs that evoke the unique atmosphere of football terraces in the days before all seater stadia have gone on sale.
Forming part of Cumbrian photographer Stuart Clarke’s collection are prints from Blackburn Rovers and Burnley games that are now up for grabs.
The cameraman, who is based in Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District, has spent years going round the country’s football stadia capturing the fans on film.
The images of Ewood Park capture the old Blackburn End in all its glory, while the shots of Turf Moor highlight the old terraces with mill chimeys standing proudly behind them.
The collections includes photos from practically every league club in the country.
