COLNE can put their faltering league form on the back burner for the trip to Congleton Town in the Vodkat League Cup.
Nigel Coates’ injury-hit side have lost their last three games, including last weekend’s 3-2 home defeat to Alsager Town.
But Colne, currently 17th in the Premier League, will look for some joy in the cup competitions as they travel to an in-form Congleton, who are riding high in fifth place in the same division.
The two teams met on the opening day of the season in the league, with the Cheshire side coming out on top with a 2-1 win.
