CLITHEROE were knocked out of the UniBond League Challenge Cup in the first round after a 4-2 home defeat to Garforth Town.
Craig Sargeson put the Blues ahead in the fifth minute but Garforth turned the game on its head with four goals before the half-hour mark.
Former Accrington defender Jonathon Smith grabbed a consolation goal five minutes from time.
