FORMER Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has emerged as one of the favourites to fill the vacant managerial role at Watford – while managerless Carlisle and Huddersfield may also be on his radar.
The 44-year-old has yet to resume his managerial career since he left Turf Moor on November 8 last year.
But, along with former QPR and Plymouth boss Ian Holloway, is among the names linked with the Hornets post, vacated by Aidy Boothroyd earlier this week.
Cotterill has also been heavily linked with the Carlisle job, after John Ward parted company with the Cumbrians on Monday.
