BURNLEY will renew rivalries with old foes Blackburn Rovers after being accepted into next year’s Sky Masters event.
The newly-formed Clarets team, made up of former players, will take part in the North West heat of the popular Masters Cup.
This takes place at the Arena in Manchester on Saturday July 25, when the Clarets, whose line-up has yet to be confirmed, will compete against Manchester United, Manchester City, Oldham Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
The event is broadcast on Sky Sports, with eight regional heats leading up to a grand final at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on September 6.
