Nelson boss Jon Westall is quietly confident that his side can maintain their good early form for the remainder of the campaign.
The Blues are in mid-table ahead of a trip to Flixton.
“We have done ourselves justice so far, and have got some good wins under our belts,” said Westall.
“We are more than capable of competing at this level, but we just need a bit more consistency.
“I have a points tally in mind that I am aiming for, but it’s not something I share with anyone.
“At the start of the season I looked at the squad we had and thought it was important to pick up points early on and not get stuck at the lower end of the league again.”
