ACCRINGTON Stanley defender Leam Richardson is ready to return to the Reds squad that will travel to Dagenham and Redbridge after shaking off a pelvic injury.
Richardson, 28, has been out of action since August but came through a run-out against Blackpool Reserves on Wednesday night and will take his place on the coach to Essex.
Reds boss John Coleman said: “Leam came through 90 minutes unscathed and he will join the squad, as did Andy Procter and a few other players. It’s good to have him back because he’s very adaptable.
“We need competition all over the park – a good solid squad with players ready to come in when required.”
Skipper Peter Cavanagh came through 45 minutes against the Seasiders but won’t be ready for Saturday.
Elsewhere, Stanley are hoping to agree another month’s loan for Blackburn midfielder Rostyn Griffiths.
