Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince says the mark of a good season would be to finish close to tonight's opponents Aston Villa.
Ince said: “I don’t think Villa will be in the top four this season but I think they are one of the sides, with their financial clout, who can challenge the big four, along with Man City and Spurs.
“We have not got that luxury at Blackburn so we have to deal with what we have got.
“If we get close to Aston Villa it means we would have had a good season.
“There are always times when one of the top four are going through a transitional period and that is when one of those three sides might sneak into that top four.
“We are going there to win though. The way we performed at Middlesbrough, our football was exceptional so we are going with plenty of confidence.”
