DENNIS Hill is hopeful that his Darwen side can rocket up the Vodkat League First Division table with two wins in the next five days.
Darwen have won their last three games - they beat Norton United 4-3 at the weekend - to move up to 12th. They now travel to lowly Holker Old Boys tonight before a home match against Leek CSOB on Saturday.
Hill, who will be without Graham Perkins tonight because of work commitments, said: “If we can win tonight and then on Saturday, we could be sixth or seventh by Saturday night.
“We’ve changed the formation and we’ve gone with three up front. We’re playing like Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle now, we can score five but concede four!”
