DOES anyone else think Harry Redknapp's whirlwind switch to Spurs from Portsmouth was bizarre?
I only found out in the early hours of Sunday morning. I'd brought my eight-month-old son downstairs to change his nappy and flicked on the TV to be met by headlines like "Ramos out - Redknapp in."
I don't know who was dribbling more - me or the baby!
And it seems that most of the football world was taken by surprise as well.
What made it doubly surprising for me was that it wasn't long ago that Redknapp branded a section of the Spurs fans as "nutters" after the abuse levelled at former Tottenham defender Sol Campbell!
And now here he is, being hailed by the very same fans. You couldn't make it up.
Whether Redknapp will be a success at the Lane is yet to be seen, but this whole saga just goes to prove what a mad game football has become.
