STEVEN Thompson is off and running for Burnley, after officially being credited with the Clarets' first-half goal at The Valley.
His flick from Joey Gudjonsson's initial shot is the striker's second of the season, after he contributed to former club Cardiff City's 2-1 win against Southampton on the opening day.
