ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman is hoping for home tie when the FA Cup first round draw is made tomorrow (ITV, 1pm).

Stanley haven’t made it past the First Round Proper since the 2003/04 season when they got the third round only to be beaten by Colchester in a replay.

And last season, Coleman’s side threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 against Huddersfield.

But the Reds boss was hoping for better luck this time to help boost the club’s coffers.

He said: “I’d like a home tie and I’d like to have a bit of a run in the cup this year because we could certainly do with the finances.

“I know there’s a lot of other things going on in the current climate but to have so few Accrington fans there on Tuesday (against Shrewsbury) will effect us financially.

“So we need revenue from other streams and the FA Cup provides that.”
