CLITHEROE will go top of UniBond First Division North if they can take maximum points from tomorrow’s trip to AFC Halifax Town and Monday’s visit to Curzon Ashton.
The Blues have won all of their league games since an opening day home defeat and are now only two points behind leaders Ossett Albion with four games in hand.
But they will face a tough task at The Shay, where former Football League side Halifax – currently seventh in the table – were backed by more than 1,000 supporters for their last home league match.
