COLNE will have to dip in to their reserves once more to cover an ever-increasing injury list.
With four first team players sidelined with long-term injuries, Martin Broderick is added to the crocked list while Steve Hall is banned for the trip to Glossop.
It means manager Nigel Coates is having to blood his young players sooner than he would have liked.
“In an ideal world, you would like to bring in the youngsters when you are doing well and have a settled side,” said Coates.
“But we have been doing it for weeks now purely through necessity.”
With Scott Gizon, Sam Hayes, Jason Hefferan and Kieron Roberts unlikely to see any action this side of Christmas, Coates’ hand has been forced.
“Some of the young lads have come in and done a good job but there are others who have struggled,” added Coates who should have Krystian Liptrot on loan from Bamber Bridge.
