ACCRINGTON Stanley skipper Peter Cavanagh could be out for a month with an Achilles injury.
Cavanagh missed Tuesday’s win over Shrewsbury with the injury and manager John Coleman admitted the 28-year-old was looking at another spell on the sidelines.
He said: “It’s a big blow losing Cav. He’s our captain and he’s very instrumental in our pattern of play. It’s a blow but we’ve got players who can cover.”
Coleman, whose side face Wycombe at the Fraser Eagle Stadium tomorrow, will also run the rule over Phil Edwards, who needed seven stitches in a leg wound on Tuesday night.
