ROQUE Santa Cruz’s brother Julio scored his first goal for Blackburn Rovers’ reserve team in the 5-1 win at Hull on Wednesday night.
The 18-year-old striker laid on the first goal of the game for Alan Judge before Aaron Doran added a second goal with a fine solo effort.
Rovers then won a penalty and, although Josh O’Keefe and Hull’s Nick McNamara were both sent off for an altercation following the award, Judge made it 3-0 from the spot.
Doran scored the fourth after the interval and Santa Cruz rounded the keeper to make it five after a Hull consolation effort.
Rovers handed a trial to Kosovan-born Swedish under 17 international midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic, who has been made available by Liverpool, during the match.
