Nelson must defy the odds tonight if they are to register their first Vodkat Premier Division victory in five attempts.
Jon Westall’s men head to league leaders AFC Fylde - formerly named Kirkham and Wesham - who have won their last eight league matches.
The well-financed West Lancashire outfit, who defeated Nelson 3-1 at Victoria Park back in August, are favourites to clinch promotion to the UniBond League.
“It’s a good test for the lads,” said Nelson chairman Alan Pickering.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge and I’m sure Jon will have his team well-prepared.”
