Clitheroe boss Neil Reynolds has described Saturday’s 2-1 FA Trophy win at Bradford Park Avenue as his greatest day in managment.
The Blues, who host Warrington Town in UniBond Division One (North) tonight, have booked themselves a second qualifying round tie against former League Two side Boston United after brushing aside Avenue.
“We were absolutely magnificent,” said Reynolds.
“In fact, we were unplayable. It’s the best performance we’ve put in for years.
“It was my best day in management, without a doubt, but it’s the players that deserve all the plaudits.
“They’ve set the standard now for the rest of the season.”
Clitheroe can climb into second place in the league with victory at Shawbridge tonight.
