DOES anybody actually care about the Stanford Super Series apart from the players?
It seems like a whole lot of fuss about nothing to me.
I'm a cricket purist and I've been totally gripped by the current India v Australia series.
It's been pure theatre from start to finish - cricket at its finest.
But the Stanford series just doesn't interest me in the slightest.
So there's a lot of money in it - big deal.
This is about American razzamatazz and greed. Cricket certainly won't be the winner.
I'd rather England win a Test series or a one-day series than a one-off match against a made-up team.
I think it speaks volumes that the only three members of the fanatical Barmy Army are making the trip to the Caribbean.
To me it's like the X-Factor - stupid, pointless and unnecessary and I'll be glad when it's over.
