DARWEN recorded a good win at Ashton as they ran out 3-1 winners.
The Salmoners took the lead when Dale Bullen struck on the half-hour.
Fitzsimmons levelled for the home side five minutes after the break only for Rossi to put Darwen back into the lead three minutes from the end.
And Lee Turner put the icing on the cake in the last minute.
