ACCRINGTON Stanley are considering their right wing options ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Barnet.
Stanley boss John Coleman switched striker Jamie Clarke to the right against Rochdale to accomodate fellow loanee Terry Gornell up front but admitted that the change did not work as he would have liked, with the visitors running out 3-1 winners.
The Reds may opt for a less cavalier line-up away from home, with Republic of Ireland under 21 international Jimmy Ryan in contention to start.
Assistant manager Jimmy Bell said: “Jamie didn’t have his best game on the right.
“We thought it would give us more of a threat but it didn’t really work.
“When they got on top Jamie didn’t really have the defensive qualities needed and it left Peter Cavanagh a bit exposed on that side.
“We’ve got a few possibilities and Jimmy Ryan can play on the right, so that’s something we’ll look at.”
