Rovers will travel to the Riverside Stadium to take on Championship rivals Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round.
John Eustace’s men beat Boro 1-0 on Wednesday night thanks to Dom Hyam’s winner 13 minutes from time.
Michael Carrick’s side currently sit fifth in the Championship table, having won nine out of their opening 18 matches.
Rovers reached the fifth round last season, beating Cambridge and Wrexham before losing against Newcastle on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.

Tamworth and Dagenham, the only non-league clubs left in the historic competition, host Tottenham and travel to Millwall respectively.
Manchester United head to the capital to face Arsenal and Manchester City host North West neighbours Salford.
The draw was carried out by former Manchester City and Stoke boss Mark Hughes and ex-Premier League striker Dion Dublin.
