Blackburn Rovers' postponed Championship fixture against Portsmouth has been re-arranged for January 15.
The match at Ewood Park was due to be played last Saturday but was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Many Pompey fans had already begun making the journey but the referee deemed the surface unplayable.
Rovers have now confirmed the game will go ahead in the New Year, on Wednesday, January 15. Kick-off is at 7:45pm. The game is sandwiched between the FA Cup third-round, on January 11, and a trip to Oxford United the following weekend.
Portsmouth have offered to pay for the travel of those who were on the official coaches down to Ewood Park as a gesture of goodwill for their fans. They haven't played either of their fixtures this week after Tuesday night's game against Millwall was abandoned due to a power failure.
