Sonny Aljofree and Faz Rawson were both on target but Accrington Stanley were held to a 2-2 draw by Swindon Town in League Two on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United loan defender Aljofree scored his first senior goal, with captain Rawson adding a second after the Robins had taken an early lead.
The Reds had chances to increase their lead but a solo effort from Swindon’s Danny Butterworth meant it finished all-square.
Donald Love returned to the starting line-up after suspension with Connor O’Brien on international duty.
And the Reds began brightly as Josh Woods raced through for a loose ball in only the second minute but goalkeeper Jack Bycroft got there first.
The Reds forced a number of early corners which caused problems in the Town defence.
But Swindon opened the scoring on 10 minutes in their first real attack when a Joel McGregor deep ball into the box was headed home by Robins top scorer Harry Smith for his sixth goal of the campaign.
Josh Woods had a chance to equalise immediately getting the ball in the box, making space for himself but he fired straight at Bycroft.
And the same man had another effort saved by the Robins keeper before the leveller came on 16 minutes when a Ben Woods corner was flicked into the net by Aljofree for the Manchester United loanee’s first league goal.
Bycroft kept out a Dara Costelloe shot as Stanley forced the pace while the Robins keeper superbly denied Tyler Walton.
However, Stanley grabbed their second on 30 minutes when Donald Love’s free-kick was headed home by captain Rawson.
The Reds pressed, dominating the chances, but Swindon were still dangerous - Paul Glatzel heading over for the visitors on 41 minutes.
After the restart, Stanley had two great chances to add to the score. Costelloe got on the end of Love’s ball into the box, but guided the ball narrowly wide, while Rawson leapt highest in the six-yard box to head just over.
Costelloe fired wide as the Reds continued to press, while a Ben Woods free-kick was not far off.
Swindon equalised on 69 minutes when Danny Butterworth raced into the area, evaded a number of challenges and slotted low into the net.
Glatzel headed over for Swindon as they looked for the winner in a nervy ending, but the Reds held on for a point.
