John Eustace is hopeful that Blackburn Rovers’ squad will be bolstered by four players after the interntional break.

Rovers have been depleted in the last week but should get a welcome boost when they face Portsmouth on November 23.

Tyrhys Dolan missed the win in South Wales due to suspension but will be back in the fold. They also hope to have Amario Cozier-Duberry, Arnor Sigurdsson and Owen Beck back frim injury.

Beck hasn’t featured since the defeat to Sheffield United after sustaining a back problem. Sigurdsson took a knock to his thigh in training the day before that fixture and has therefore missed three games.

Cozier-Duberry hasn’t played since the last international break. He was due to tart against Swansea City in the first game back but injured his ankle and hasn’t been seen since.

But all three of those players, plus Dolan, should bolster Eustace’s options next time out.

“I certainly hope that two or three of them will be back at least,” Eustace said.

“Amario, Ty, Owen Beck, Siggy. They could all be back after the international break, I certainly hope so.”

If that is indeed the case, Rovers will just have Hayden Carter and Scott Wharton as long-term absentees. The latter will return in January whilst Wharton will be closer to the end of the campaign, if not 2025/26.
