Tyrhys Dolan will miss Blackburn Rovers' trip to Cardiff City after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Stoke City.

The forward was a second-half substitute but was cautioned by the referee for dissent after a decision went against Rovers. That takes him over the threshold and he'll serve a one-game ban against the Bluebirds.

Dolan is the first player to hit that unwanted milestone. Lewis Travis, Todd Cantwell and Hayden Carter are also on the disciplinary tightrope, though the latter won't be back from injury until that 19-game cut-off has passed.

"It is what it is, we're not going to get disappointed about it and I'm not going to make excuses," Eustace said.

"Everyone can see what is happening at the football club at the moment with the suspensions and injuries and that quality in the final third. But we are doing a lot of good things.

"It is what it is. I can't do anything about it and we have to deal with it. Whoever plays on Saturday will be ready."

Rovers are already without Amario Cozier-Dubbery and Arnor Sigurdsson in attack. Both were ruled out until after the international break due to ankle and thigh issues, respectively. Lewis Baker will be available for the squad though, after missing the midweek game due to ineligibility.
