After back-to-back Championship defeats, John Eustace wants an improved result and more attacking threat against Stoke City.
Blackburn Rovers' final 30 minutes against Sheffield United was below par for the standards this team have set, particularly at Ewood Park. Stoke City are not to be disrespected but are clearly a downgrade in the calibre of opposition.
It is, at least on paper, a great opportunity for Rovers to return to winning ways. Eustace will consider changes to freshen things up and keep the squad fit for another quick turnaround.
Callum Brittain at right-back is likely to be the only change to the back five. Lewis Baker is ineligible against his parent club and so Lewis Travis and Sondre Tronstad have even less competition in midfield, having started every Championship game.

The big question remains what to do in attack. Tyrhys Dolan was off-colour against Sheffield United and so might come out. But who comes in, with Arnor Sigurdsson and Amario Cozier-Duberry out?
Eustace was open to playing Makhtar Gueye and Yuki Ohashi together. Whether he will or not, is unknown, but his other options to move pieces around are limited.
I think it's worth a try and we might well see it, with Ryan Hedges and Todd Cantwell continuing from the sides.
Predicted Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Batth, Hyam, Beck; Travis, Tronstad; Hedges, Ohashi, Cantwell; Gueye.
