Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.
Aynsley Pears - 8
Pulled off a good save to deny Moore's header and Campbell's first attempt. Nothing he could do about either goal.
Joe Rankin-Costello - 5
Poor clearance for the opening goal, though it was a little unfortunate how it broke.
Danny Batth - 7
Won plenty of headers against Moore, who is a handful.
Dom Hyam - 8
A number of really important clearances/blocks, none more so that one of the line from Moore's goal-bound header. Rovers' best outfield player.
Owen Beck - 6
Found Rak-Sakyi a tough customer on the left. Most of Sheffield United's best play was down that side.
Lewis Travis - 6
Worked hard but Sheffield United won the midfield battle. Taken off with 20 left with after a few tackles to avoid a booking.
Sondre Tronstad - 6
Tried to add some creativity from deep with passes between the lines but there wasn't much movement.
Ryan Hedges - 5
Should have done better with his chance at the back post but didn't make any contact.
Tyrhys Dolan - 4
No lack of endeavour but quality was lacking. A few over-hit passes and a lack of creativity in the final third.
Todd Cantwell - 7
Rovers' brightest attacking spark but couldn't do it all on his own. Drifting from the left did leave Beck exposed, at times.
Yuki Ohashi - 6
Worked hard up front but had very little service. Hasn't scored since Mid-September but equally hasn't had many chances to do so.
Substitutes:
Callum Brittain (Hedges, 60') - 6
Came on at right-back in a reshuffle just before the second went in.
Andi Weimann (Dolan, 60') - 6
Didn't really have much impact after coming on. Needs a bit of a spark soon.
Harry Pickering (Rankin-Costello, 72') - 6
Came on as a third centre-back in a bid to try and get more joy against the Blades backline.
John Buckley (Travis, 72')
Brought on to try and add some creativity from deeper midfield but had little joy.
Makhtar Gueye (Ohashi, 72') - 6
Didn't have a sniff at goal after coming on.
Unused substitutes: Toth, McFadzean, Baker, Leonard.
Referee: Oliver Langford
Attendance: 16,810
