John Eustace is 'hopeful' Hayden Carter's knee injury won't be too serious.
The Blackburn Rovers defender limped off in the first half during their 0-0 draw with West Brom. Carter injured his knee whilst backtracking as West Brom attacked.
He had treatment but left the pitch with the aid of the physios, unable to really apply much pressure to his right leg. Understandably, that has caused concern that he could face a spell on the sidelines.
Eustace didn't know the severity of the injury but hopes he won't be out for too long. Rovers should know more before the weekend.

"We think it's his knee which he might have strained but we'll have to wait and see on that tomorrow.
"Losing Hayden is a big blow to us, we don't know how long he will be out.
"The last few games when he's been back at centre-half and earlier in the season, he's improving all the time for such a young lad.
"Hopefully, he won't be out for too long. Danny came in and didn't put a foot wrong when he came on. That's why he's here, that bit of experience to help the others.
"When he went off, Danny came on and did very well. We probably didn't have the cover last year, we don't know how long he'll be out for, hopefully not long.
"If he is out, we have the players to come in and cover in his place."
