For most of Lewis Travis' Blackburn Rovers career, there has never been any doubt about his place at the club.
Since breaking through under Tony Mowbray in that League One promotion season, 'Trav' has never looked back. Calling him by his first name just feels weird to everyone. He is part of the furniture despite being 26.
That wasn't the case this summer, for the first time. His shock loan move to Ipswich Town had a ripple effect. But those waves have now calmed and normality has resumed.
Travis has started every one of Rovers' Championship games this term and there's little doubt he'll be in the line-up against West Brom. If so, that will be his 200th for Blackburn Rovers.

Injuries, touch wood, have been kind. He is always available and lasts the distance of 90 minutes. It wouldn't be impossible to see him adding 200 more by the time he hangs up his boots or eventually moves to pastures new.
Reflecting on the achievement, there is still one scratch Travis has yet to itch. The ultimate prize; returning Blackburn Rovers to the Premier League.
"It's a massive achievement, I'm very grateful for that," he said ahead of facing the Baggies.
"I don't remember much about my first game, it was so long ago. A lot of those players have retired now.
"It's hard in football, you never know where you'll end up. It's been a dream to stay here and get the captaincy and play so many games.
"It's a real honour. I love it here, my main aim here is now to get promotion with Blackburn, it would mean a lot to me.
"This year we have a real good blend of players, a good manager and a coaching team, things like that. When you look at the league, we need to keep our home form up and add to the away."
To do that, Rovers will need to cement a top-six place. They currently have one after taking 18 points from 10 league games, an excellent return by any measure.
West Brom will be the toughest challenge they've faced at Ewood Park this season. But there is no reason to fear anyone on their own turf when they boast the only 100 per cent record in front of their own supporters.
Holding high standards will be the key to maintaining that success, Travis feels. This already has the flavour of an early 'six-pointer' despite its prematurety in the season.
"We have to keep those standards, don't get lazy," he said on the key to retaining their home form.
"We have to go at every team like we can win like we have done. When you look at West Brom, they're a very good side.
"You'd expect them to certainly be in the top-six, if not higher. It'll be a tough test but we don't fear anyone at the moment.
"There isn't a crazy standout performer in the league at the moment. There is one point between us and them, they will be top-six and if we can get a result, it feels like an early six-pointer.
"It would be a statement to the league to tell them that we're here, ready and it would set a marker."
A win would complete a perfect six out of six at home. A far contrast to last year's pitiful effort where they managed half a dozen wins in the entire campaign.
No matter what, that will be broken this term, probably with more gritty victories like the one over Swansea City. There is steel and quality in this group, Arte et Labore, you might suggest.
"I think the fans have been great for us this season and right behind us," Travis says on the change of mood approaching home matches.
"It's always easier when you're playing at home and they're singing, chanting, it gets you through games. We need to keep that home form up, we need the fans to keep coming out and supporting us.
"We need to brush up on our away performances. When you come off the back of a bad week, you want another game quickly but we had two weeks to sit on it and dissect it.
"We were upset, the gaffer was disappointed, we had to put that right, thankfully we did that. The way we have stayed the season shows where our standards are set now. We're disappointed after any bad result.
"We don't look too much into the table at this stage but if you'd offered us 18 after 10 at the start, we'd have taken it.
"The team is built on a very strong back five, the whole team deserves credit for the defensive record. Last season didn't go to plan for everyone so to be here and winning games is what it's all about."
