Tyrhys Dolan is determined to replicate his form at Ewood Park on the road for Blackburn Rovers.

The 22-year-old has made a good start to the season on home turf and was credited with the match-winning goal on Saturday. That's his second of the season whilst most of his best displays have come in Lancashire.

On the road, Dolan knows he needs to produce more consistently. That has been the criticism levelled at him with his ability and industry never in doubt.

Dolan is acutely aware of that area to improve and is working hard to deliver. He wants to be a talisman for Rovers this term and to do that, consistency is key.

"I want to keep this run going, I love playing at Ewood Park," he told RoversTV.

"The fans have been brilliant this year. I feel confident here, I have my family and my friends. I enjoy playing here.

"Confidence is a big part. I need to also take that into the away games. I know I haven't been great away from home. I will try to improve and respond to that.

"I have been frustrated with the last two performances, personally. I want to perform away from home as well.

"I haven't really set myself any targets, I do most years. I just want to take it game by game. Contributing a goal or assist each game and I think I've done alright to start the season. I know I have 10 times more to give.

"Seeing what the lads have done in previous years, we've always had a man to get the goals. For me, I believe in myself, I am doing a lot of work on and off the pitch and I hope this will pay off."

"I don't know! Maybe it's a bit controversial," he added on who was claiming the Swansea winner.

"I have been speaking to Paps (Gueye) and he says he'll give it to me so I'll take it! It doesn't matter really, we're just buzzing to get the three points.

"The main thing for us has been to respond. The last week before the break wasn't us, the start we have made was outstanding. We knew we had to give a response for ourselves and everyone.

"We created a lot of chances and on other days, they go in. It was a proper Championship win. We had to defend really well so that's credit to the boys at the back.

"I don't know how many crosses they headed out so fair play. The boys are more than capable of that, we work on defending our box in training so credit to that paying off."

Rovers have a 100 per cent Championship record at Ewood but will face their toughest assignment against West Brom. The Baggies have looked like a top-end side in the first 10 games and come to Ewood on Wednesday night.

But Dolan insists the team has no fear about facing anyone in their own ground this term.

"We're creating a good buzz around the ground now. People will come here and know it's a tough place to come to. That's what we want," he said on a fifth win from five.

"You want to win all your games but especially at home. This is where we want to build our foundation and we're doing that.

"I don't know what the big difference is. We've started well and the gaffer has implemented to us that every game we give 110 per cent. We're building momentum at home and we believe in ourselves.

"When we dip, we give the right response. We're enjoying our football right now.

"West Brom are a quality team so that'll be tough but we don't fear anyone here. They have to come and they know it'll be tough.

"We know we'll have to bring our A game because good teams punish you. But we know we'll go in confident."
