We have taken a look at which members of the Rovers squad have impressed so far as John Eustace's side aim to build on a positive start to the Championship season.
Aynsley Pears - 7.5
Has performed well this season and is keeping Balazs Toth at bay. His consistency has improved and he's been an important part of the backline.
Ultimately, fans will want to see these levels continue after previous doubts but so far, he's not put much of a foot wrong this term.
Hayden Carter - 8
Has looked back to his very best levels at times this season, particularly playing at centre-back. Adapted well when moving to full-back though it was a difficult week last time out.
Nonetheless, he is growing as an asset for Rovers. His ability to carry the ball from centre-back, as illustrated by his amazing assist on opening night, is an impressive skill to have.
If he continues playing at that level, I wouldn't rule out him one day making the step up, as a centre-back.
Dom Hyam - 8
After struggling, at times, last term, Hyam has looked far closer to his first-season form for Rovers. He has been ever-present, playing every minute in the Championship.
The defender is a great leader for the backline and complements Carter particularly well. He's adapted and very rarely has a very poor game. You could count them on one hand is over two years of football and that isn't bad going.
Danny Batth - 7
Batth hasn't really put a foot wrong since coming into Rovers. His inclusion coincided with three clean sheets on the bounce and he scored a goal in there too, earning a nomination for September's Championship Player of the Month.
For a player that hasn't had a full pre-season, his levels have been great. He is a reliable and dependable option for Eustace in the squad.
Harry Pickering - 6
It's going to be an interesting battle at left-back this season at Rovers, given the early signs Owen Beck has shown.
Pickering is one of Rovers' most consistent performers. Rarely lower than a six out of ten, often a seven or above. His best attributes are defensively and with the ball, whilst Beck has perhaps a little more drive and end product in the final third.
Lewis Travis - 8
It's been a fantastic first nine games for the skipper. He has reintegrated himself in the club and established himself as a key cog in Eustace's machine.
With a couple of goals thrown in there too, he can be delighted with his start. Just needs to watch the yellow cards, four already this term.
Sondre Tronstad - 7.5
The Norwegian midfielder has once again been a consistent performer in the centre of midfield. Wins so many second balls, plays simple passes and keeps the team ticking over.
His partnership with Travis has been good. They complement each other well and are both very durable. It's hard to see either's levels dropping significantly any time soon.
Ryan Hedges - 7
The Welshman has made a good return after two long-term hamstring injuryies. He's been used in a vareity of different roles, with left-back the newest to add to the list.
You'd like a few more goals and assists from him but he is a player for the team. Someone Eustace trusts and relies on and rarely let's anyone down.
Andi Weimann - 7.5
I think Weimann's impact at Rovers has taken everyone pleasantly by surprise. Whilst there was always still miles in the tank, his goal contributions had slowed down in the last few years.
But he's going to be forever popular in these parts after that volley at Turf Moor. He's another adaptable player that always gives a base level of six out of ten, which any squad needs.
Tyrhys Dolan - 7
Dolan is a Eustace favourite because of his work without the ball as well as on it. But we have high standards for Dolan and want to see even more.
After a season-best display against QPR, the levels dropped in two away games. We're still looking for that consistency and regular goal output. More to come but he's enjoying his football and Eustace likes working with him.
Makhtar Gueye - 6
Plenty more to come from Gueye, you feel. His impact has been stunted by the Burnley red card and Yuki Ohashi's form.
He didn't really grab his opportunity at Plymouth with both hands and he's still awaiting that first league goal. But there have been flashes, he's a handful, a nuisance to defenders and a focal point.
Yuki Ohashi - 8.5
I don't think anyone can argue that Ohashi has been Rovers' best value-for-money signing so far. What a find, full credit to the recruitment team.
His finishing is superb, he is so clinical. To say he was viewed internally as a Semir Telalovic replacement, he's already surpassed that. You hope that he can continue these levels but we must be wary of potential burnout later in the season.
*Players must have played a minimum of 450 minutes in all competitions to qualify for a mark.
