Morgan Whittaker's 97th-minute winner saw Plymouth Argyle beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in dramatic fashion.
Rovers looked like leaving Home Park empty-handed until substitute Joe Rankin-Costello popped up at the back post to head in an equaliser in the 85th-minute. However, that proved not to be enough as Plymouth won it with virtually the last kick of the game.
In truth, Argyle were the more energetic and dangerous team throughout the contest and could've scored more goals. It wasn't until the substitutes arrived that Rovers really looked capable of scoring.
They led early on through Michael Obafemi, who steered in Ibrahim Cissoko's cross. The striker could've had another before half-time but shot wide after an error at the back.
Rovers created scant little until the introduction of Todd Cantwell and Amario Cozier-Duberry. Yuki Ohashi's downward header somehow evaded everyone and was the closest they came.
However, Rankin-Costello popped up with his second goal of the season at the back stick, heading over the goalkeeper which looked to have earned a share of the spoils.
But Whittaker won the game for Plymouth with a late header, earning space in the box to head past the goalkeeper and sink Rovers hearts.
Eustace freshened up his side but didn't make wholesale changes for a third game in seven days. Makhtar Gueye was handed his first start since his red card against Burnley with Ryan Hedges also brought back into the starting XI.
As they did at Coventry City in midweek, Rovers created the first chance of the game. Gueye put through Andi Weimann and the ball just ran away from him as he went to finish, with Daniel Grimshaw coming out to block.
That would be the best that Rovers would muster in a half where they were second best. Plymouth looked fresher, more energetic and dangerous in attack.
It wasn't much surprise then, when they took the lead. Morgan Whittaker's clever crossfield switch found Cissoko, who drove into the area and cut the ball back for Obafemi to finish.
It's the second time the on-loan Burnley striker has scored against Rovers, having notched for Millwall at Ewood Park in March.
Cissoko was causing a lot of issues down the left with his direct running. For the second time in a week, there was a huge contrast between the pace in Rovers' attack and the opposition.
They should have doubled their advantage after an error from Batth. The defender allowed Obafemi to ease him under the ball and then get in on goal but he put the ball wide under pressure.
The pace of Plymouth's front three continued to cause Rovers problems. Cissoko completely missed his kick at the back post when left unmarked. Joe Edwards was then denied by Aynsley Pears as Argyle continued to look the more threatening.
Todd Cantwell and Yuki Ohashi were thrown on to try and change the momentum but Pears remained the busier goalkeeper. He kept out Adam Randall and then Cissoko with a second goal looking likely to sew up the result.
It wasn't until the 70th minute that Rovers created their first real opportunity of the second half. Harry Pickering's header was nodded across goal by Ohashi but somehow nobody got a touch in the middle.
Plymouth continued to look dangerous though and Pears had to be alert to tip substitute Mustapha Bundu's shot wide of the post.
With five minutes to go, Rovers found a breakthrough. A cross to the back post found Rankin-Costello and he headed across goal from a tight angle to earn a point. They might even have won it too. Ohashi beat his marker but was denied by the legs of Grimshaw.
Instead, they lost it with the last kick of the game. Whittaker found himself free in the box and headed past Pears to win the match. A gut-punch right at the end which will give Eustace plenty to consider over the international break.
