John Eustace must weigh up whether to freshen up his attack after Blackburn Rovers' blank at Preston North End.

Whilst Rovers left Deepdale with a respectable point, there was frustration at the lack of clear-cut openings they forged with a man advantage for 45 minutes.

Therefore, it would not be a surprise if the head coach freshened things up against a defensively-solid Queens Park Rangers outfit.

There is little reason to change much at the back. Deducing much from Eustace's team news updates is a fool's errand but Callum Brittain is 'touch-and-go' for the weekend, as is Arnor Sigurdsson.

With that in mind, Hayden Carter will likely continue at right-back with Danny Batth and Dom Hyam in front of Aynsley Pears, having recorded back-to-back clean sheets.

Owen Beck will miss the next three games through suspension, handing Harry Pickering his shirt back at left-back. 'Travstad' will continue in front of the defence, as they have for every Championship game so far.

The questions come in attack. It feels Lewis Baker is most likely to lose his starting berth. Amario Cozier-Duberry did his chances no harm with a hat-trick in midweek, albeit against young opposition.

But I think Makhtar Gueye is most likely to be upgraded from the bench to the starting XI. That would see Tyrhys Dolan shift to the left and Yuki Ohashi play off the big centre-forward, whose physicality was missed against Preston in the first half.

Ryan Hedges completes the attack in an XI that would contain seven that have started every Championship game this term.

Blackburn Rovers: Pears; Carter, Batth, Hyam, Pickering; Travis, Tronstad; Hedges, Ohashi, Dolan; Gueye.
