John Eustace was delighted with all aspects of Blackburn Rovers' performance after a comfortable 3-0 win over Bristol City.
Lewis Travis put Rovers ahead at half-time but a brace from Yuki Ohashi made sure of the points in the second. The Japanese forward's second was a stunning strike and earned him the Player of the Match award.
It means Rovers remain unbeaten in the Championship and are already halfway towards reaching last season's tally for home win. They restricted Bristol City to very few chances, particularly for the first half, and recorded their first clean sheet of the season as a result.
"It was a really good performance from the squad which was the most important thing," Eustace reflected.

"A clean sheet and it's great to win again at home. I thought the application and the attitude that the boys put into the game was excellent.
"We've had a very good two weeks on the training field. They have worked really hard and we got our results. The squad was used and the lads that played out of position did really well.
"We had to change a fair few things around, the way we wanted to play and build. The lads have really applied themselves in the last week especially, taken the messages on board and that's pleasing."
Rovers' didn't create a bucket load of chances in the first half but were very clinical in the second. Ohashi took his first with brilliant composure, curling it into the corner.
The second came after Bristol City had been enjoying their best spell. A save from Aynsley Pears and a heroic block from Hayden Carter had kept them at bay before Ohashi went up the other end and wrapped the contest up.
"I said at half-time that we had been good but we had to be more clinical in the final third," Eustace said.
"They agreed and then in the second half we were. But there went moments, Pears pulls off a fantastic save and the boys put their bodies on the line. Carter, Beck with fantastic blocks.
"They really earned the clean sheet which was very pleasing. That's what we ask for, we pride ourselves on being difficult to play against and I felt we were.
"Good teams like Bristol City, I've seen all of their four games before and they should've won all of them, we knew we'd have to defend very seriously and we did.
"The goals were top drawer. Yuki has been fantastic since he came to the football club, the lads love him and his English is getting better every day. He's part of the family."
