Rovers boss John Eustace has been nominated for the Championship Manager of the Month Award for August.
Eustace oversaw a positive start to the campaign, which began with a 4-2 win against newly-promoted Derby on the opening day.
Rovers left Norwich with a point thanks to Yuki Ohashi’s late equaliser before Arnor Sigurdsson got the winner against Oxford.
Eustace’s men also secured a point against fierce rivals Burnley despite playing the final half hour with 10 men at Turf Moor.
The head coach now faces competition from West Brom boss Carlos Corberan, Watford chief Tom Cleverley and Sunderland gaffer Regis Le Bris.
Corberan’s side have picked up 10 points so far, including victories against QPR, Stoke and Swansea.
Meanwhile, Cleverley’s Watford racked up wins against Millwall, Stoke and Derby before suffering a narrow defeat at Sheffield United.
Sunderland currently sit top of the table after taking maximum points from their games against Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday, Burnley and Portsmouth.
The winners will be announced on Friday, September 13. Former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson and ex-Wolves striker Don Goodman are among those on the judging panel.
The nominees for the Player of the Month Award have also been revealed but no members of the Rovers squad were shortlisted.
Oxford’s Mark Harris, West Brom’s Josh Maja, Sunderland’s Luke O’Nien and Millwall’s Duncan Watmore are all in the running.
