Josh Cullen wants to help Burnley get back to the Premier League after extending his stay at Turf Moor.
The midfielder has put pen to paper over a new three-year deal with the Clarets with the option of a further 12 months.
Cullen has made more than 80 appearances for the club since joining from Anderlecht in the summer of 2022.
He was a key member of the side that won the Championship and played 25 times in the top flight last term.
The 28-year-old featured in the wins against Luton and Cardiff but has missed the last few games through injury.
“It’s always good to commit your future to the club - a club that in the two years I’ve been here has really felt like home," he said.
“I have a good relationship with everyone around the club and the fans, I feel happy here.
“I’m just eager now to get back to work this season and get the club back to where it belongs in the Premier League.”
Scott Parker was someone Cullen looked up to a youngster at West Ham and the Irish international is now relishing the chance to work under Parker at Turf Moor.
He added: "It’s been great, a breath of fresh air around the place, fresh ideas and a fresh voice.
"I speak on behalf of all of the squad when I say everyone enjoys working with him. We’re really enjoying it and looking forward to the rest of the season.”
