Burnley beat the deadline to complete the signing of Millwall man Zian Flemming on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old scored 15 goals for the Lions last term and bolsters Scott Parker's attacking midfield options following the departures of Zeki Amdouni and Scott Twine.

He told the club site: “It’s surreal to be here. It’s happened really quickly, I heard about it first yesterday morning and I just wanted to get here.

“I want to be a Premier League player in a Premier League team and with the aims and ambitions that we have here at the club, we can make that possible.”

Meanwhile, Vitinho has completed a permanent switch to Botafogo for an undisclosed fee.

The versatile full-back joined the Clarets in the summer of 2022, becoming the first Brazilian in the club's history.

He went on to make 80 appearances in East Lancashire, scoring four times, and was part of the squad that won the Championship title.

Burnley have also confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Oluwaseun Adewumi from Austrian club Floridsdorfer for an undisclosed fee. The forward will now join Dundee on loan.

He told the club site: “I feel very happy and excited to have signed for Burnley.

“Everything about the club, from the infrastructure and pitches to the coaches and staff, all of whom have been very open, makes me think that I have made the right decision.

“It’s a huge step but I will have help from my family and I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge.”
