Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of Amario Cozier-Dubbery on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The young winger checks in at Rovers after plenty of competition for his signature. He becomes the second signing on transfer deadline day and third in the last 24 hours, following Lewis Baker and goalkeeper Balazs Toth.

Cozider-Dubbery joined the Seagulls from Arsenal this summer and the next stage of his development is regular first-team football in the Championship at Ewood Park. He scored 11 goals in 19 Premier League 2 appearances last term.

It continues a growing relationship between Brighton and Rovers. the 19-year-old follows in the footsteps of Jan Paul van Hecke, Reda Khadra, Andy Moran and Yasin Ayiri in making the temporary switch to Ewood Park.

He will compete for minutes alongside Rovers' other wide players, favouring the right flank where he can cut in on his stronger left foot.

Todd Cantwell is likely to be Rovers' next player through the door. He has completed his medical and a deal to sign him permanently is very close.

Rovers are also hopeful of adding Fulham's Martial Godo to their ranks as well. However, links to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alfie Devine won't materialise and he was never a target at this stage in the window despite previous interest.
