John Eustace is expecting a busy week with Blackburn Rovers looking for at least four more signings before Friday's transfer deadline.
A goalkeeper, full-back, central midfielder and wide attacker remains on Eustace's radar as he looks to bolster the squad. As things stand, Rovers are no closer to announcing a new addition though things move quickly in football.
Carl Rushworth is a goalkeeper who has been linked but Eustace was coy on whether he was their first-choice target.
"I certainly am (hoping for a busy week), he told The Lancashire Telegraph.

"We have spoken about the areas we are light and we need to improve.
"I want to bring real quality and competition for places at the club so everyone is fighting for that shirt. We need a competitive squad.
"I'd be happy (with four). There have been lots of goalkeepers that have been linked (Rushworth). Pearsy has been terrific but I think it's important we have competition for places.
"We'll have to wait and see. I'm not aware of anything we're close to (before Blackpool).
Rovers have made a strong start to their Championship season with seven points from nine. Arnor Sigurdsson was the late match-winner at Ewood Park, earning a 2-1 win over Oxford United.
Eustace was delighted for the Icelandic forward, who has had a difficult period with form and injuries. He felt it was a tight Championship affair that he was pleased to edge.
"I thought it was a very difficult game, quite a typical Championship match. They're well-coached and difficult to play against, I was delighted to get the three points.
"We got into some very good areas but lacked the last pass or killer instinct and it didn't come off. They score a fantastic goal and that's a wounder.
"But to score before half-time that made things easier for us. We knew we'd make positive changes and the game would open up, which it did. I thought in the second half we were better.
"It was good character from the group. Joe took his goal very well, he's always been there and involved during the early season and pre-season. He's a very important part of the squad.
He added on Sigurdsson: "It's been a frustrating period for him, the injury at the end of last season didn't help.
"He's come back from pre-season and getting fitter. We know he can be a match-winner for us and that was proven in the first half of last season.
"He's a good lad, a good professional to work with and he deserved his moment."
