Hayden Carter is an injury doubt for Blackburn Rovers this weekend against Oxford United.

The centre-back went off in the closing stage of Rovers' 2-2 draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road. Carter took a late knock and missed the final minutes.

That's prevented him from training so far this week (Thursday) and could therefore rule him out of the weekend's match. Danny Batth is on standby to take his place if he isn't fit, with Rovers to assess him on Friday before a final decision is made.

"He took a whack at Norwich, he is a concern, after a fantastic performance," Eustace explained.

"He hasn't trained yet this week so we'll have to look at him tomorrow. It's a bit of a concern at the moment.

"Nobody else is a worry. Everyone else has trained this week and so we should have a full squad.

"It's about getting the right loads for the right players who haven't had the right minutes in pre-season. We have a three-game week coming up and we are hoping to have a few bounce (friendly) games over the international break just to get everyone up to speed for when we return."

Rovers otherwise have a fully fit squad and aren't expected to make many other alterations.
