John Eustace will ring the changes tonight against Stockport County with Danny Batth, Andi Weimann and Yuki Ohashi in contention for their full debuts.

All three of Blackburn Rovers' new signings came off the bench against Derby County on Friday night but could start in a rotated team at Edgeley Park.

Rovers are likely to make plenty of changes for the Carabao Cup first round, with Stockport down to the bare bones in terms of their injuries.

With another senior goalkeeper yet be signed, Joe Hilton could come in for Aynsley Pears, though Eustace may opt to stick with the more experienced shot-stopper.

With Pat Gamble and Connor O'Riordan both sent out on loan in the last week, Rovers are short of centre-back options. Kyle McFadzean is still working his way back to fitness and so Batth and Hayden Carter are likely to be the centre-backs.

Leo Duru and Jake Batty have been deputies at full-back in pre-season and have a chance of making the squad. Eustace may chose to mix and match so Callum Brittain may start on the right with Batty on the left.

John Buckley is a certainty to start. Again, Rovers are light of options in midfield so Lewis Travis may play alongside him, with Sondre Tronstad having the night off. Joe Rankin-Costello and Ryan Hedges are unlikely to feature after suffering from niggles over the last week.

Dilan Markanday and Arnor Sigurdsson are primed and ready to take their chance on the flanks. It's then up to Eustace whether he feels Weimann and Ohashi are ready to start.

If not, the likes of Jack Vale and Igor Tyjon could get minutes, though both will probably be in the squad regardless.

Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Carter, Batth, Batty; Buckley, Travis; Markanday, Weimann, Sigurdsson; Ohashi.
