Rovers have confirmed when tickets will go on sale for the East Lancashire derby against Burnley at Turf Moor.
John Eustace doesn’t have to wait long for his first taste of the local rivalry as they make the short trip across the M65 on Saturday, August 31.
Rovers will be out for revenge following a 1-0 defeat when the sides last met, with Manuel Benson getting the decisive goal as the Clarets clinched the Championship title.
Tickets will go on sale in the week commencing Monday, August 12 and it will be the first away fixture in the league where the new loyalty scheme will be in place.
The new system will also be used for the trip to Stockport County in the Carabao Cup first round on Tuesday, August 13.
Rovers have confirmed tweaks to the loyalty scheme based on feedback from supporters after the initial announcement.
An official update read: “The club has listened closely to feedback from supporters and our commitment is to ensure we have a clear and fair system in place for our limited away ticket allocation.
“We can confirm that all loyalty points have now been balanced against purchase history for each active account, and all season ticket loyalty points and membership purchase points are fully up to date.
“Supporters who believe their points are split across different accounts or see a discrepancy with their points total are advised to contact as soon as possible by emailing ticketoffice@rovers.co.uk or calling 01254 372000.
“Fans are advised to have all of their account details ready when speaking to a member of staff from the ticket office. Please note, anyone who didn’t assign tickets when placed on general sale or obtained complimentary tickets will not have points added to their accounts.
“In addition, there has been a point alteration and Blackburn Rovers Women’s season ticket holders will receive 60 points and all fixtures apart from the Under-21s matches awards five points.
“Please note, once the ticket information is released for any Rovers fixtures, season tickets and memberships purchased after the ticket information is announced will not qualify for points. Points will also not go into accounts until one full week after the match has taken place.”
