Blackburn Rovers Women will play their 2024/25 fixtures at Ewood Park with the club thanking The FA and NewCo for their help after discussions during the off-season.
Rovers made national headlines earlier this month when a report from Mail Sport revealed the club had a 100K wage budget for their Women's team this season.
That means players would earn around 9,000 a year on a 16-hour contract, which is minimum wage. It's understood those are the same terms as the 2023/24 campaign.
Several former players and staff then spoke publicly about their negative experiences working for the Women's team when the news story broke.

Unsurprisingly, a host of Rovers' best players left the club to pursue other ventures. That left plenty of fans disappointed after what was a hugely successful season for the team in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
After a period of uncertainty, Rovers have been speaking to various governing bodies about the situation. They have now thanked The FA and NewCo for their assistance with preparations underway for the new campaign.
That statement comes with confirmation that Rovers Women will play all tne of their league fixtures at Ewood. Rovers played seven of their games at the club's home ground last season, with a record attendance of 1,500 against Southampton in March.
“We are really pleased all of our home matches will be played at Ewood Park this coming season,” said Rovers boss Simon Parker.
“Ewood Park is our home and it is steeped in history and many memorable moments. We had a strong record at Ewood last season and we are looking to build upon that this year.
“The players have reported back for pre-season training and the hard work now begins for the start of the season in September.
“As a group, we are excited to yet again compete in what will be a very competitive league.
“We have a young and hungry group who are all determined to succeed and they will be given the opportunity to show what they can do in the second tier of English football.
“In Lancashire, we are fortunate to have the largest number of women’s and girl’s football teams in the country. We will be tapping into the local talent pool to continue to develop players for our first team.
“We know that there will be some challenges ahead, but we are excited to tackle those challenges head-on and with optimism.
“Hopefully we can consistently attract big crowds to Ewood for all of our home fixtures, as we know that the fans will have a big part to play this season in helping us to achieve our aims.”
Rovers Women’s General Manager, Ellis Clark, added: “When I arrived at the club a year and a half ago, I really wanted to begin integrating Women’s fixtures into what was already a busy schedule at Ewood Park.
“I feel it is really important that we play within the town of Blackburn, so that fans can access and enjoy Women’s games.
“The matchday experience at Ewood Park is excellent and I am so glad that we are making this step forward thanks to a lot of hard work and effort from people across the club over the summer to get us to this positive position.”
Season ticket information for the Women's 2024/25 campaign will be released in due course.
