Burnley have confirmed their pre-season schedule as Scott Parker prepares for his first campaign in the Turf Moor hot seat.
The Clarets will play behind closed doors games against Barnsley, Celtic, Hearts, Newcastle and Spanish side Leganes.
Parker’s squad will then head to Spain for a training camp, which included a fixture against Cadiz on Sunday, August 4.
An official update read: “Please note, the venue for the Cadiz match is still to be confirmed and supporters are advised not to book travel arrangements at this stage. The club will provide a further update in due course.”
Burnley kick off the Championship season with a trip to Kenilworth Road to face Luton on Monday, August 12.
The Clarets are aiming to bounce back from last season’s relegation from the Premier League under Vincent Kompany, who left to take charge of European giants Bayern Munich.
Parker faced the media for the first time as Burnley boss on Monday morning and revealed his hunger to lead the club back to the top flight.
Craig Bellamy will not be part of the backroom staff next season after being named Wales’ new manager.
