Rovers have announced a friendly against German side Nurnberg during their training camp in Austria.
The fixture will take place on Saturday, July 20 (5pm) at the Kaiserwinkl Arena in Kossen and ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
Nurnberg finished 12th in Bundesliga 2 last season and are managed by Germany legend Miroslav Klose.
Rovers have six friendlies lined up so far as John Eustace’s prepares for his first full season in charge at Ewood Park.
The side are looking to build on their 19th-place finish last term, securing safety on the final day following a memorable victory at champions Leicester.
The new Championship season gets under way on Friday, August 9 with a home fixture against newly-promoted Derby.
