Blackburn Rovers will have a new front-of-shirt sponsor for next season after the end of their deal with Totally Wicked.

The E-cigarette and vaping firm have confirmed they will not be sponsoring Rovers again next season as part of a mutual decision.

Totally Wicked has been involved with Rovers since 2018, first becoming their training kit sponsor before taking over the front-of-shirt in January 2022 after the premature end of their deal with Recoverite Compression.

They have remained Rovers' primary sponsor for the last two and a half years, signing one-year rolling contracts on each renewal.

COMMENT: Rovers transfer questions that still linger as players return

Rovers have a deal lined up with a replacement for Totally Wicked which will be announced in due course, The Lancashire Telegraph understands.

In a statement on their X page, Totally Wicked said: "After a six-season partnership, our sponsorship with Blackburn Rovers will come to an end at the conclusion of the current agreement.

"We are incredibly proud of the journey we've had with Rovers since September 2018, starting as the official training kit sponsor and then becoming the front-of-shirt sponsor in January 2022.

"While our commercial partnership is concluding, our commitment to the Rovers community remains strong.

"We'll continue our support of the club's official charity, Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, and have committed to purchasing season tickets and subsidising merchandise for our staff for the 2024-25 season, many of whom are dedicated Rovers supporters.

"Although our partnership with Blackburn Rovers ends by mutual decision, we part ways with heavy hearts and many positive memories and we wish the club all the best success for the future."

Rovers’ CEO Steve Waggott added: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Totally Wicked for all their support over the last few years.

“To work closely alongside a local business owned by a huge Rovers fan has produced a much-valued and powerful partnership.

“We are delighted that they will continue to work alongside the club by supporting the fantastic work of our Community Trust, demonstrating the alignment of their social values with ours.”

The club also noted that the new front-of-shirt sponsor will be unveiled 'over the coming weeks'.

Rovers revealed this week that their home kit will be released on the week commencing July 1, in the build-up to their first pre-season friendly with Accrington Stanley.

The third kit will follow the next week with the away trip following seven days on from that, week commencing July 14.
