Scott Wharton is a major doubt for Blackburn Rovers ahead of their trip to Leeds United this weekend.
The centre-back was taken off at half-time with a back injury on Wednesday night and the quick turnaround means he's unlikely to be fit to play at Elland Road.
Eustace didn't rule Wharton out but did reveal he hadn't trained on Friday. With the game less than 24 hours later, it looks likely that he won't be available to play.
In better news, Semir Telalovic and Zak Gilsenan both returned to the first-team session on Friday. They were both absent in midweek due to illness and a minor ankle knock.

"Scott is still struggling, he came off with a back spasm on Wednesday night at half-time," Eustace said.
"We are still assessing him, he will be touch and go for the weekend.
"I think we have to wait and see. He wasn't on the grass today but we have good competition in that position.
"At centre-half, we have three or four players waiting for an opportunity to play so I'm sure we'll be fine.
"Semir was back in training today, unfortunately, he was poorly over the last couple of days. Zak turned his ankle at the start of the week but he was back on the grass today which was good."
If Wharton is unavailable, Eustace is not short of options to replace him. Kyle McFadzean came on in midweek for his first minutes in a month.
Hayden Carter has not started a match either since coming back from a hamstring injury. His last start was in January and he's been an unused substitute in recent matches.
Billy Koumetio is a left-footed option. If Eustace decides to go to a back three, which he did for the second half in Bristol, he would be a natural choice to take Wharton's place.
"Hayden (Carter) is a good option, we have Billy as well," Eustace said.
"Ben has played well at left-wing-back, left-back, coming in. We have good options with Fadz (McFadzean) as well.
"Hayden is a very good young player but he's missed a lot of football. He's been doing well in training of late. We have good options there."
